If Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) are closed due to weather or road conditions, Open Door School is also closed. If CMS opens on a delay, our half-day classes will be closed and our full day class will operate on the same delay as CMS.
We do NOT follow CMS if they’re closed due to power outages, frozen pipes, and other non weather-related issues.
We will also post our closings on our Facebook, Instagram, and X accounts.
